download the zip-file and install the addon in your addon folder. assuming you have installed WoW in the folder
C:\World of Warcraft, you should have the following files after installation:
C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\RatherBeFishin\RatherBeFishin.toc
C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\RatherBeFishin\RatherBeFishin.lua
C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\RatherBeFishin\RatherBeFishin.xml
C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\RatherBeFishin\ReadMe.html
How to Use it
when you have successfully installed and enabled the addon in your char screen, you should see 9 buttons
like shown in the screenshot above.
the top button row shows how many glacial salmon, musselback sculpins and nettlefish you currently
have in your bags.
the buttons in the center row can be left-clicked; they will open trade skill windows for cooking
and your primary professions (tailoring and enchanting in the screenshot).
KNOWN ISSUE: it may be necessary
to use the /reloadui command in case the profession buttons are not displayed after login.
the bottom row holds
a button which will open/close all your bags when left-clicked
a button which will apply a lure to your fishing rod (if you have one equipped). right-clicking
on this button will switch through different types of lure.
and finally, a button which will cast fishing when left-clicked
Moving the buttons
the idea is to move the buttons close to the center of the screen to minimize the distance by which
you have to move the mouse pointer while fishing. the buttons can be moved by simply right-clicking
on one of them and moving the mouse.
the initial position can be restored by typing /rbf reset, the buttons can be hidden with
/rbf hide and shown again with /rbf show
